The assault MS that became the basis of the Gerbera Tetra. Equipped with a high mobility unit for space battle, a phantom prototype aiming for high mobility of RX-78GP01Fb or higher appeared in ver. A.N.I.M.E.!

It was designed by Anaheim Electronics as a development of the "Gundam Development Project". As with RX-78GP02A, many former Zeonic engineers are involved. Aiming for high mobility and extended cruising range, the Earth Federation Forces did not approve it, so it disguised its exterior and transformed into a Gerbera Tetra.
